First Event Transgender Conference Brings a January Thaw to Kick off Your 2011
It’s going to be the biggest party to hit the Greater Boston Transgender Community all year and it’s going to be a great way to kick of 2011 for you. It’s First Event 2011. Now, before I get myself into too much trouble, I need to disclaim by saying that yes, I’m on the First Event 2011 Committee, I co-lead the PR and Marketing and I’m the webmistress (and a damn good one for TCNE I might add).
Okay, so mark your dates for January 19-23, 2011 at the Boston Marriott Peabody. Here’s what’s happening, in a nutshell, or one coffee mug’s worth of info:
- Over 65 workshops from deportment, to makeup, to surgeons, family stuff
- Three evenings of very hot entertainment including shows and dance club
- Food, and lots of it (skip the diet when you get here)
- After parties (keep your ears open)
- The MTPC I AM Program will be in full swing taking your stories
- Jamison Green is First Event 2011′s keynote
I’ll have some highlights here at Beck’s Cafe for First Event 2011 items I think my caffeine jittered readers might be most intersted in. But, the overall information, updates, highlights, and registration are over at TCNE’s First Event site.
