What I love most about this song, besides it being so uplifting and joyful, is that its so true. God did give us love in this Christmas season and He did that by sending His Son Jesus to us through His birth. Jesus, set aside His own rights and came to earth to take the form of man to be among us. Immanuel, God with us. He gave us love. But do we take it?

I have a friend who sends me email almost daily, sometimes twice a day. They aren’t forwards, they are bona fide things she finds interesting, thoughts she has, that she shares with a wide array of her friends. She’s giving me love. It’s my choice of course to open them, junk mail them, or read them. I receive all of them and most of them I read. In doing so I accept her love. We can all use more of that I think.

So, He gives you love. He gives ALL of us His Love. You just need to go ahead and accept His love gift, His Son and, you too will see better days ahead, you will dance again and you will be filled with Joy.
