But I think I have a tendency to overanalyze it, subconsciously trying to figure out if I hug because the &quot;giving&quot; aspect of it -to someone else&#039;s benefit- is important to me, or if it&#039;s more of a somewhat more selfish &quot;taking&quot; -to my own benefit- whether the huggee likes it or not. And I guess that overthinking keeps me from doing it more often than it should, because once I&#039;m done considering, that split-second moment has passed by already, and missing a chance due to such needless hesitation is just such a shame. Hugging is best when done spontaneously.]]></description>
