Thank you very much for leaving your comment. I can’t imagine going through all that and not having ANY hair removal – just the sting; how disappointing is that! I’m thinking Nikki’s idea is a good approach until I can get my butt into a laser/electro place.

I had something similar happen when I tried to remove some excess hair with one of the other hair removers. It stung for ever and the hair didn’t come off! I have left Nair on arms and legs for ten minutes or more without much pain. 3-4 minutes only thins the hair for me; it takes longer to melt it all away!

I’m glad the post gave you a giggle :) It was yet another learning experience! *grin* My skin has mostly recovered except for a bunch of skin breakouts on my shoulders that has been slowly going down – finally! I actually switched to the combo of Veet and a razor for now anyway. Those both seem to be working fine; of course I’m following the Veet instructions to the second. Thank you for the tip on “Jergans Naturally Smooth Shave Minimizing Moisturizer” and the other tips too. I appreciate them!

Oh gawd hon, I wanted to answer this one last week but could not access the cafe ???
I was laughing hysterically at your latest discovery and remembering with just as much pain a similar encounter with Nair. One of the few items I have ever seen where if you do not pay attention to the directions you will surely wish you could die.
I now know what hell is, they dunk you in Nair and leave it on for twenty minutes — lol, gawd hell can not hurt that much.
Until you have electrolysis or laser something you may want to do is get yourself a really nice electric razor and between razor shavings in the tub you can touch up with the electric.
Just be careful of sensitive areas such as underarms or pubic areas even a good electric can give a razor burn.
Also always use Jergans Naturally Smooth Shave Minimizing Moisturizer regularly, you find hair regrowth slows incredibly.
